What a fun and crazy week for campaigns! The deadlines were looming and I knew I had a lot to get through in a short space of time without compromising on quality but that’s all part of the fun right? Shooting for the WellWoman campaign was fairly easy. I knew it had to focus around an energetic lifestyle so I immediately thought about showing how this would suit the woman that works out. Luckily for me, my husband is a fitness fanatic (I do my part!) and we have a lot of equipment at home. Cue the gym shots! Plus he’s not a bad photographer either…..
The Mugler shoot was another one that was a lot of fun and I wanted to get creative with it rather than just do an ordinary flatlay. It’s a girly, sexy perfume so I was like damn right I WILL put on my party dress and go out on my (freezing) balcony and do this! I was also inspired by Tezzamb’s Mugler shoot (yeah I’m kind of obsessed with her feed). The skyline over the Thames always looks beautiful at night so we were lucky to have that as a backdrop.
Shooting for Nars and Elemis was abit trickier: the Nars shoot I lost sleep over because it was such a huge campaign and a brand I literally fangirl over. I wanted to do it justice as a luxury makeup brand. I’m pretty happy with the shots I got and you can see more of the pics in my dedicated Nars post. Elemis was a brief I got the day before I had to create the content and submit for it. I loved this one because I got the opportunity to have an amazing Superfood Facial in John Lewis (which you can book here) and take home the new Superfood range of products you see below. My skin was glowing after the treatment and I’m such a huge fan of Elemis now. After my half hour facial I then had a few hours to edit the Insta-story I created during my experience and also take some stills of the products I was gifted. I based myself in the Hoxton Hotel for the afternoon and did all my photography and editing there. Really happy with the results but boy what a week!
